Haven’t used that type before you you’ve got it in the right order I would say

t shape olive into the compression nut so the upstand is into the nut eg right of the olive

thanks shaun for your reply
going onto lead pipe in this order?

1 locking nut
2 rubber o ring
3 t shaped olive flat end next to o ring
4 fitting

the question is does oring go to 15mm fitting end or lead end after locking nut

It could be either A or B.
It depends on the shape of the inside of the fittings.

Does the locking nut have a square base or a tapered base.
The same with the internals of the fitting the locking nut screws to.

I'm leaning towards B.
There's no way that O ring would put up with the force of squashing the olive around the pipe as in Pic A

If it’s just the red light flashing, then I’d say an overheat situation. So, motorised valve, pump, lack of water etc.
