Issue:

Users reported that iProperties (Project > Description) of custom pipe fittings were not updated and showing the wrong values when placed on a pipe run in Inventor. The same property was updated correctly if the fitting is not placed on a pipe segment.

Status:

This incident is being investigated for a possible cause and resolution.

Workaround:

  1. Run File > Open > Open from Content Center to create an instance of a desired member (it has correct iProperties).
  1. In Tube & Pipe environment, place the same member on a T&P segment.
  2. Right-click the member and run Component > Replace to replace with the instance placed in step #1.
